How we help                                                      
                                                              
The ASCA Women's Substance Misuse Service has been set up to respond directly to the needs of women who may be experiencing a substance misuse problem.

The women's service provides:


• Assessments Counselling / Brief Interventions
• Group work
• Advice, Information and support
• Access to Day Programme
• Advice / Training for health
• Social care professionals on issues affecting women   with drug or alcohol problems

 

Help is provided for women with drug and alcohol problems who may need support for :

• Relationship difficulties
• Self-esteem
• Stress and stress management
• Abuse
• Eating diorders
• Domestic violence
• Work related problems
• Support for living with health related problems from   substance misuse (HIV/Aids, Hep C etc.)
• Relapse prevention
